Equipment

  • Z Grills 700D4E wifi pellet grill
  • Z Grills Oak pellets

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Pound maple bacon(chopped)
  • 1 jalapeno cut in strips
  • 1 cream cheese slices
  • extra sharp cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Saute 1/2 pound maple bacon, chopped when cooled
  • Slice each sausage like a canoe being careful not to cut all the way through
  • Add one slice to each sausage
  • Add one slice jalapeno to each sausage on top of the cream cheese
  • Pile cheddar cheese on to each sausage making sure to cover canoe slice completely
  • Add bacon bites on top of cheese
  • Add to a well greased wired rack
  • Once your z hits 400f add that wired rack middle shelf and cook for 30 minutes or until your desired doneness is reached. In my case it's 185-190(i like my sausage well done)Still juicy and good at that temp. You can also add a tin underneath to keep your pit clean;)… Remove rest(5 minutes)and serve!!
