- 1 jalapeno cut in strips
- 1 cream cheese slices
- extra sharp cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Saute 1/2 pound maple bacon, chopped when cooled
- Slice each sausage like a canoe being careful not to cut all the way through
- Add one slice to each sausage
- Add one slice jalapeno to each sausage on top of the cream cheese
- Pile cheddar cheese on to each sausage making sure to cover canoe slice completely
- Add bacon bites on top of cheese
- Add to a well greased wired rack
- Once your z hits 400f add that wired rack middle shelf and cook for 30 minutes or until your desired doneness is reached. In my case it's 185-190(i like my sausage well done)Still juicy and good at that temp. You can also add a tin underneath to keep your pit clean;)… Remove rest(5 minutes)and serve!!
