Jalapeno Stuffed Mushroom Poppers

Equipment

  • Z Grills 700D4E wifi pellet grill
  • oak pellets

Ingredients

  • 3 Jalapenos(some seeds removed)
  • Mushrooms stems removed(baby bella)or your favorite mushroom
  • Half pack of Bacon
  • 1/2 lb sausage(sweet)
  • 2 blocks of cream cheese softened
  • cheddar cheese
  • Panko bread crumbs
  • Pecorino Romano

Instructions

  • Cook your Bacon and Sausage till done
  • Once finished, do a fine chop!(35-40 minutes)
  • Jalapenos… Remove the seeds and do a fine chop!
  • Add To a bowl. 2 blocks softened cream cheese, chopped sausage, 1/8 cup cheddar cheese and jalapenos .. mix well. Add some of your favorite rub to taste!
  • Stuff your mushrooms
  • Wash your mushrooms and remove the stems. Stuff each mushroom. Once stuffed, roll the tops in your topping. For this recipe I'm using chopped bacon bits, Pecorino Romano, and panko bread crumbs. All were amazing!
  • Cook your poppers
  • Preheat your Z GRILLS 400f
  • Once you hit 400f put your stuffed mushroom in a cast iron skillet or something that is grill heat safe, you can top each mushroom with a slice of jalapeno.. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until the mushrooms are tooth pick tender.
