Bacon Wrapped Meatballs aka Moink Balls

A delectable appetizer blending beef and pork, crafting a mouthwatering smoked meatball encased in bacon, bursting with savory BBQ essence.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pounds ground beef chuck
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion i use red
  • 3-5Ā  Garlic cloves minced and or chopped
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/2 pound thin sliced bacon, halved
  • 1/4 cup your favorite barbecue rub
  • 1 cup your favorite barbecue sauce(

Instructions

  • Making the meatballs

Place ground chuck, and all your dry ingredients in a large bowl. Using your hands, mix together until thoroughly combined. Now add your wet ingredients and mix. Roll out meat mixture into balls 1-2 inch in diameter. Wrap half a slice of bacon around each meatball and secure with a toothpick. Season meatballs generously with your rub of choice.

  • Fire up the Z GRILLS and set the temp to 325f.. Once that temp is reached in the balls. Cook for 1 hour or until 165f internal is reached. Once reached, remove.
  • Glaze.
    Mix your favorite BBQ SAUCE with some rub to glaze each meatball.
  • Cover by dunking each meatball in the glaze. Once all are glazed return to the pit and cook for another 10-15 minutes to set the glaze.
  • Remove and serve!!
