Ingredients
6 slices 1" thick cut crusty bread
6 whole eggs
6 oz whole milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
6 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
In a large bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients including eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla until it’s well blended.
Preheat the Z Grills to 350 °F.
Soak each bread into the egg mixture for at least 20 seconds until completely saturated.
Place butter on a griddle and coat the entire griddle surface. Arrange soaked bread slices on griddle. Transfer the griddle to the grill grates and close grill lid for 3 minutes. Open grill and flip the bread over. Cook an additional 2-3 minutes.
Move the French Toast over to the grates for 1 minute. Lift and twist. Grill an additional minute before flipping over. Repeat.
Remove the grilled toast from Z Grills and serve with melted butter and warm maple syrup.
