Smoked Chicken Legs

There are a few things better than the moist, smoked chicken legs hot off the grill! Smoked chicken legs are smoky and full of flavor that will be a year-round favorite in your house.

  • Z Grills Hickory Wood Pellets

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken legs
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup spice rub
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat your Z Grills pellet smoker to 250°F.
  • Rub oil all over the chicken legs to thoroughly coat them.
  • Coat the chicken legs on all sides with the spice rub.
  • Place the chicken legs on the smoker. Smoke them for about 2 hours.
  • Your chicken legs will be done when the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Once the chicken legs are done, baste the chicken with BBQ sauce and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove from the smoker and serve immediately.
